Seacrest Beach Real Estate and Seacrest Beach Homes for Sale

Located along Scenic Highway 30A between Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach is Seacrest Beach, regarded as one of the most tranquil beach communities in the Northwestern Florida area. This primarily residential community offers a peaceful, laidback lifestyle that makes it the perfect place for an idyllic getaway where you can simply relax and not worry about being disturbed by the usual hectic pace of big city life.

Featuring some of the highest sand dunes along the Emerald Coast, Seacrest and its uncrowded beaches offer quite spectacular views. Even with minimal commercial development, the community has its share of amenities, with recreational activities ranging from fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding to golf.

Real Estate

Residential options in Seacrest include:

  • Single-family residences
  • Older coastal homes
  • Condos in neighborhoods like the Village of South Walton and Villas at Sunset Beach
  • Cozy townhouses in gated communities like Courtyards at Sunset Beach with amenities like a swimming pool and walking distance to the beach

Most homes provide unmatched views of the Gulf of Mexico’s cool emerald waters and access to the powdery white beachfront areas.

Area of Interest

  • Camp Creek Lake– Lying to the west of Seacrest Beach, it’s one of a series of 15 coastal dune lakes, which are bodies of water so rare they are only found in a handful of places around the world, including Australia, New Zealand, Madagascar, and Northwest Florida, particularly in the South Walton Gulf-front area. These coastal dune lakes are said to have been formed 10,000 years ago by winds that redistributed the sands to create the shallow basins, and they are unique in the sense that their fresh water content sits just a few feet of the Gulf of Mexico’s salt water, separated only by a natural berm of sand. After a heavy rain, the sand berms are breached, causing an outfall where fresh water pours openly into the Gulf, and salty seawater also floods back into the dune lake, resulting in a rare brackish ecosystem that’s home to both fresh and salt water species of fish, which make these coastal dune lakes excellent fishing spots. Aside from fishing, Camp Creek Lake also offers bird watching, kayaking, canoeing, and stand up paddle boarding.
