With its undulating terrain, this single, par-72 course was designed to challenge golfers of every skill level. You will need control and accuracy through your tee shots, although you can use your shorter irons for approaches to the greens.
This semi-private golf club is built on a historic turpentine plantation and hemmed in by Choctawhatchee Bay. Its designers include the famed Fred Couples who together with Gene Bates laid out a more strategically challenging course that was given 4.5 stars by Golf Digest.
Shalimar Pointe Country Club

This 18-hole, 6,765-yard course is well integrated with its beautiful, natural surroundings. The golf course is built on the edge of Choctawhatchee Bay, following a terrain of manicured greens interrupted by mature trees and well-placed bunkers.

There are three courses here for a total of 27 challenging holes approached through wider “more forgiving” fairways. The unmatched greenery and pine trees, and the sand traps and water hazards are quite beautiful, if seen beyond their functionality.
