30A Real Estate: Seacrest Beach Real Estate and Seacrest Beach Homes for Sale

If you’re looking for some peace and quiet, let the tranquility of Seacrest Beach reel you in. Located on the eastern end of Scenic Highway 30A, Seacrest is one of the most secluded beach settlements in the Northwestern Florida area.

Regarded as one of the quietest coastal towns in the region, it is an ideal place for those who value their privacy. Visitors looking for some rest and relaxation will find their downtime undisturbed by the slew of commercial establishments that dominate many of the other beaches in the area.

Seacrest is steeped in its own brand of laidback charm and boasts a plethora of natural attractions.

Established in 1996, this mostly residential community boasts some of the highest sand dunes on the Emerald Coast. Some of these rise up so high, one can see the dolphins swimming in the open sea.

It is also located near Camp Creek Lake, one of the most pristine and scenic dune lakes in South Walton. Camp Creek offers excellent fishing opportunities. Visitors may also do some birdwatching, or go kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding. According to legend, the lake was named in honor of the Creek Indians who used to live in the area.

Aside from the Gulf’s white sandy beach and emerald waters, visitors can also take a dip in the Seacrest Lagoon, a 378,000-gallon private pool that’s open year-round from 9 am to 10 pm. Shaded by palm trees, it is one of the largest pools in Florida and a popular spot for families. There is also an amphitheater for the occasional concert, movie, or wedding.

Recently there has been a move to develop the community further by incorporating landscaped streets, walkways, and paths for pedestrians and cyclists, with the ultimate goal of integrating New Urbanist design principles with environmental objectives.

To this end, Seacrest Beach has several residential options including older beach houses, modern condos, elegant villas, and townhouses in gated communities. Most of these residences have an unfettered view of the Emerald Coast as well as easy access to the beachfront.
